THE BOOK BY RENEE ZUKIN
WHAT CAN HAPPEN WITH ONE BRAVE STEP?
Every Day, I'm Brave is the story of my experience with OCD and anxiety, the tools and strategies I've learned, and the transformation that allowed me to stop letting fear lead.
With reflective journal prompts in every chapter, readers can gain insight and inspiration along the way.
READER REVIEW
"This is an unflinchingly honest look at life lived alongside fear, anxiety, OCD, and the general heaviness of being human. Instead of promising a quick fix, Zukin does something even better: she shows us how to work with fear, not against it, and build a life that is beautiful, meaningful, and yes, brave." — Terry Beavers of Shabby Chic Boho (Read full review here)

PRACTICES TO SHIFT:
THE JOURNAL PROMPTS FROM EACH CHAPTER
At the end of each chapter is an invitation for you to reflect with journal prompts that explore the themes presented. I've gathered them together in one downloadable PDF so that you can print them and use today, whether you've read the book yet or not.
I'll email you the download. You can unsubscribe whenever you want.
ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS MATTERS.
IT ALSO DOESN'T DEFINE US.
Maybe you've gotten the official names: OCD, Anxiety, Depression, BiPolar, ADHD, Anxiety, Autism...
Or maybe you feel resonate with the experience of fear, doubt, and overwhelm, whether it's been given a label or not.
Either way, fear is something that's gotten in the way of you doing things you love, and you're looking for a way through.
This book is for you if:
- You have a diagnosis, or suspect you should, and you're tired of it running the show.
- You've spent years looking capable on the outside, surviving instead of thriving, while your internal alarms keep sounding.
- You keep thinking "what's wrong with me?" or "why can't I do the things other people can?" and you want a pathway forward.
I wrote Every Day, I'm Brave for the one in all of us who needs to be reminded that bravery isn't just reserved for the big stuff. It's a practice, and you can start today to take one small step toward freedom from fear.
A NOTE FROM ME
WHY I WROTE IT
Fear can take hold of me in seconds, and it doesn’t always let go. It can make the smallest task feel impossible. For a long time I thought the goal was to get rid of it first and then I'd be able to live my life.
This book is the story of what happened when I stopped waiting to be "healed" and starting living alongside fear anyway.
It's honest, because I didn't want to sugar coat it, and it's real because I know there are so many out there struggling, too.
You may find yourself or a loved one reflected in these pages. If that's you, I see you.
I hope it helps you build a life with more compassion, connection, and courage, and a good deal more than just getting by.
With love,
Renee

FROM READERS
"As a mom of a toddler it's been a long time since I've finished a book in 24 hours and that's exactly what happened with this one. Now I'm going back to do the journal exercises and integrate my own learning. If you struggle with anxiety, OCD, panic attacks or catastrophic thinking you need this book. You will feel seen and validated as well as gather more tools to allow growth alongside of your fear and behaviors. "

"I’ve struggled with anxiety and OCD my whole life. There are times when you feel like you can take on anything, and then suddenly, you feel completely alone. This book beautifully captures that inner voice that tries to hold you back—and the constant reminder you have to give yourself that you are going to be okay and you can do this. Bravo to Renee."
— Loni
"As a psychotherapist and author I know from firsthand experience that clients need to feel like they are not alone in their suffering to heal. Renee walks along side us as she vividly describes what it's like to live with OCD and anxiety. Her journal prompts at the end of each chapter are not just for the anxiety-ridden, they are for anyone wanting to do inner work and grow personally."
