TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

This Agreement is entered into between Zukin's Professional Services, LLC ("Host," "Company," or "Renee Zukin") and the individual enrolling in The Writer’s Room Membership ("Member" or "you").

MEMBERSHIP OVERVIEW

What’s Included in Your Membership

Your Writer’s Room Membership includes:

  • Weekly Writer’s Room co-working sessions for accountability and community support (currently Mondays at 11:00am ET)
  • Access to Writer’s Room resources, prompts, and tools when shared
  • Opportunities to celebrate wins, share progress, and engage with fellow writers
  • Early access and special member pricing for future workshops, programs, and events

Trial Details

  • 14-Day Free Trial beginning on the date of enrollment
  • No payment due during the trial period
  • Membership automatically renews at $18/month after the trial unless cancelled prior to the renewal date
  • Members may cancel anytime through account settings

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Company Responsibilities

Zukin’s Professional Services, LLC agrees to:

  • Maintain confidentiality and an ethical approach to community facilitation
  • Provide access to weekly Writer’s Room sessions and membership resources
  • Maintain a supportive and respectful community environment
  • Respond to membership-related emails within 24–36 business hours, Monday–Friday between 9:00am–4:00pm Central Time

2. Member Responsibilities

Member understands and agrees that:

  • You are responsible for your own physical, mental, emotional, and creative well-being, decisions, actions, and results
  • Participation in The Writer’s Room does not guarantee any specific writing, publishing, or personal outcomes
  • You agree to engage respectfully, honestly, and constructively within the community
  • You are responsible for creating the time and energy to participate in a way that honors the space and your own goals

3. Nature of Services

Member acknowledges and understands that:

  • The Writer’s Room is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy, medical care, or professional mental health support
  • Membership content and sessions are not legal, financial, or medical advice
  • You will seek independent professional guidance where appropriate

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

The Writer’s Room is intended to be a supportive and confidential space. By participating, Members agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding anything shared within the community or live sessions
  • Treat fellow members with kindness, encouragement, and respect
  • Refrain from harassment, disruptive behavior, spam, or unsolicited self-promotion
  • Respect the privacy and intellectual property of other members and not share their writing or personal information without consent

Zukin’s Professional Services, LLC reserves the right to remove any Member from the community without refund if behavior is deemed harmful, disruptive, or in violation of these guidelines.

MEMBERSHIP STRUCTURE & ACCESS

Weekly Sessions

Writer’s Room sessions are currently held on Mondays at 11:00am ET via Zoom. Session dates and times may change with reasonable advance notice.

Community Access

Members receive access to:

  • Weekly live sessions
  • Shared resources and tools
  • Related materials when applicable

Access remains active as long as membership payments remain current.

BILLING, CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

Membership Billing

After the 14-day free trial, membership automatically renews at $18/month unless cancelled before the trial expiration date.

All payments are processed securely through Kajabi and/or Stripe.

Cancellation Policy

Members may cancel at any time through their account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Cancelling during the 14-day trial period prevents future charges.

Failed Payments

Failure to remit payment may result in temporary suspension of membership access until payment issues are resolved.

If payment remains unresolved after 30 days, membership access may be permanently terminated.

Refund Policy

Members have 3 days after their first paid charge to request a refund in writing by emailing [email protected].

After this 3-day refund period, all membership payments are non-refundable.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials, resources, prompts, recordings, and content shared within The Writer’s Room are the intellectual property of Zukin’s Professional Services, LLC unless otherwise stated.

Members may use materials for personal use only and may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or share membership content without written permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Member agrees that:

  • Zukin’s Professional Services, LLC and Renee Zukin are not liable for any direct or indirect outcomes resulting from participation in the membership
  • Results vary based on each individual’s effort, participation, and circumstances
  • No guarantees are made regarding writing progress, publishing success, or personal transformation

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Members are responsible for:

  • Maintaining reliable internet access
  • Accessing Zoom and the membership platform
  • Managing their own technical setup and troubleshooting

Technical issues on the Member’s side do not warrant refunds or membership extensions.

MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

Zukin’s Professional Services, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE

By enrolling in The Writer’s Room Membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
